Azalee  Gamble
Azalee G. Gamble, 90, of Live Oak, FL passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 in the Good Samaritan Center, Dowling Park, FL following an extended illness. She was born on Feb. 27, 1929 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Howard B. and Lou Edna Crews Goff, was a devoted homemaker and a member of Rocky Sink Baptist Church in Live Oak. Mrs. Gamble loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a wonderful cook, especially her Egg Custard Pie.
Mrs. Gamble is survived by her husband of 72 years: John A. Gamble, Live Oak, FL; her son: John H. & Brenda Gamble, Live Oak, FL; sister: Carolyn Winfry, Venice, FL; two brothers: Wesley Goff, Live Oak, FL, Leslie Goff, Altamonte Springs, FL; two grandchildren: Julie (Lee) Cherry, Lisa (Brian) Tillman; three great-grandchildren: Taylor, Ty and Larrie.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Daniels Memorial Chapel, Daniels Funeral Home, Live Oak with Rev. Robert Carter and Rev. Mike Chauncey officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Sink Baptist Church Cemetery, Live Oak, FL. There will be a visitation prior to the service beginning at 10 am.

So sorry to learn of Azaleeā€™s death and I send my deepest sympathy. I have such fond memories of her especially when we were setting out tobacco plants. It was hard work but we also laughed a lot. She could brighten any situation and was always fun to be around. She will be missed but she also leaves many wonderful memories. My love to John and family.
