Belle Lee Leon, aged 63, died peacefully on September 20, 2017 after a brave struggle with chronic illness. She was born August 14, 1954, in Altha, FL, the daughter of Alfred G. Bramblett and Lois (Pitts) Bramblett (both deceased).
Belle was most happy when hosting her large family of children and grandchildren at her home during holidays and special occassions. She also enjoyed visiting the beach and Hawaii, travelling to the Great Smoky Mountains, playing piano, and bargain shopping for unique items and hidden treasures. From 1980 to 1991, Belle blessed countless people with her piano playing as she supported Church of God ministries in Florida. She retired in 2015 after 36 years of working for the Florida Department of Health as an administrative assistant and health inspector.
She is survived by brothers Earnest (Corina) "Buddy" Bramblett of Stockton, CA, and Alfred (Trish) "Junior" Bramblett of Eagle Lake, FL; sisters Barbara (Thurman) Johnson of Gaffney, SC, and Joyce (Julian) Cadena of Mulberry, FL. She is also survived by a son, USMC Captain (ret) Nathan (Miranda) Leon of Albany, GA; and daughters Stacie (Paul) Harrington of Saint Cloud, FL; Sarah (Buddy) Gilbert of Lakewood Ranch, FL; and Laura (Shawn) Howard of Live Oak, as well as 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
