Clyde E. Dyer, Jr., 91, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. The Jacksonville, Fla. native moved to Live Oak in 1977 from Jacksonville where he retired from the City of Jacksonville after 27 years of service as an Engineer & Driver for Station #10 on McDuff Ave. He was also a WWII Veteran while serving in the US Navy and a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Live Oak. Mr. Dyer is survived by his daughter: Joyce Johnson, Starke, Fla.; son: Michael Dyer, Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 11 at Westwood Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Dees and Dr. Ben Bush officiating. There will be a visitation held prior to the service at the church starting at 1 p.m. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 12 at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Fla.
