Fountain's Story

Mr. Fountain Fort, better known to all his friends as "Blue," a life-long resident of Suwannee County, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Shands University Hospital, Gainesville, FL, after a short illness.
He was employed by the Live Oak Police Department and Lundy Septic Tank Service for many years. He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Mrs. Bernice Fort, Live Oak, Fla; two daughters: Miss Berona Sellers, Miami, Fla, Alfreda Roundtree and husband Thomas; four sons: Mr. Rico Fort, Live Oak, Fla, Mr. Greg Fort, Arndra Fort and Fred Fort, Jacksonville, Fla; four granddaughters, five grandsons, one sister: Mrs Jan Marcell, Lake City, Fla; five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Fountain Fort will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11:00 A. M. at Melody Christian Church Highway 129 South, Live Oak, Fla; Rev Frank Davis, pastor, Officiating. Burial will be in the Fort Union A. M. E. Church Cemetery. Thomas Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
