Early Wednesday morning, Jeannine Scarbrough Maxwell passed away quietly at home with her family, she was 76. Mrs. Maxwell was born on August 2, 1940 in Fresno, CA where she grew up.
She later moved to and lived in Cairo, GA, Melbourne and Perry, FL and then Live Oak, FL as a permanent Suwannean. Jeannine worked as an advertising director for the Perry News Herald in Perry, FL. She would later become a private practice dental assistant upon moving to Live Oak, FL.
She transitioned to the state mobile dental program, which provided dental health care to young children within the school systems of numerous counties in North Florida. She later joined the State of Florida as a vehicle weight inspector for the Florida Department of Transportation, where she retired after 17 years of service.
Her survivors include her son: Billy W. Maxwell, Live Oak; daughter: Connie Lorraine O'Donnell, Live Oak; grandchildren: Hayden Kellogg, Great Falls, MT, Hannah O'Donnell and John P. O'Donnell, both of Live Oak. She is dearly missed by her family and friends.
