Sister Liza Mae Robinson was born on November 17, 1929, in Madison, Fla. Parents were the late Henry and Mattie Groover. She was married to the late Jimmy Robinson. Those who preceded her in death; one daughter, Irene Jackson, and two sons, James and Anderson Robinson.
She was converted at an early age, and was a faithful and dedicated member of Springfield Missionary Baptist church, where she served as a missionary and deaconess.
Sister Liza Mae Robinson's life came to a close on April 26, 2016, at Suwannee Health Care Facility in Live Oak, Fla. She leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters, Jimmie Lou Baker of Live Oak, Mercy Lee (Johnny) James of Sc. Three sons; Leavon (Patricia) Robinson, George (Mable) Robinson, all of Live Oak, Fla. Kenneth (Alberta) Robinson of Perry, Fla. A devoted daughter in law Lynda Robinson of Live Oak, Fla. Other devoted sons and daughters, Calvin (Shirley) Bradley, Live Oak, Fla. Shawn (Vanessa) Curtis of Orange Park, Fla. One sister, Cora Roberts of Plant City, Fla., and one brother George Groover of La. Sister Liza Mae, has a host of grandchildren and great-grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Home-going celebration is to be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30 at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Alex Fountain officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastside Memorial Cemetery in Live Oak, Florida. the Robinson family will receive other relatives and sorrowing friends this evening from 5-6 p.m. at The Springfield Missionary Baptist Church. Professional Mortuary Services entrusted to the Eric A. Brown & Son Funeral Home. "THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE OF NORTH FLORIDA"
