Lola's Story

Lola Gray Boswell, of Live Oak, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 of natural causes. Mrs. Boswell was born in Suwannee County, Florida on July 21, 1921 to George Llewelyn and Mattie Sullivan Gray in McAlpin, Fla. She moved to Live Oak in 1964, retired from the Suwannee County School's Food Service and was a member of Live Oak Church of Christ. Mrs. Boswell is survived by daughter: Charlotte B. Farley (Bob), son: Earl G. Boswell (Teena) and daughter: Carolyn B. Williams (Ronald) all of Live Oak, Fla.; grandmother to 9 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her six brothers and her four sisters. There will be funeral services held at Daniels Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 29 at 3 p.m. with a visitation one hour before the services. Mr. John Arnold will be officiating with interment following in Crawford Lake Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
