Margaret Lindsay Collins was an avid hunter and fisher who left us much too soon on June 10, 2017. From the time she was young, she could be found in a tree stand with her daddy or bass fishing in their family lake. Even though she battled a connective tissue disorder, Ehlers-Danlos, and Hemophilia, Lindsay had a determination and drive to let nothing keep her from the activities that she loved.
She was born on January 12, 1992, was 25 years old and had lived her whole life in Live Oak. Lindsay attended Suwannee County schools, First Baptist and Westwood Baptist Churches, loved NASCAR, Florida Gator Football, playing video games, her friends and family and her sweet Australian Shepherd, Dakota. Lindsay is survived by her mother, Linnie Price Rutledge and step-father Charlie, her father Charles Collins (Pete), Jr., brother Aldren; grandparents George Price and Charles Collins, (Pete) Sr., and wife Martha Jean; Aunt Kim and Uncle Chris Carter and Aunt Kathy and Uncle Tyson Johnson.
She was predeceased by both of her grandmothers, Helen Viele Price and Shirley Landingham Collins. She leaves behind numerous cousins as well as other family and friends who will continue to love and remember her. A visitation with be held at First Baptist Church, Live Oak, FL at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017 with services immediately after at 11:00 in the church sanctuary with Pastor Phillip Herrington officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
