Marjorie's Story

Marjorie W. Hall passed away on May 16, 2016 at Good Samaritan Center at Advent Christian Village, where she had resided for several years. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Rev. Robert B. Hall, by her son, Ross Benjamin Hall and one grandson, Cameron Benzinger. She is survived by her daughter, Alix Neel and son-in-law David Neel; daughter-in-law Sharon Hall; grandson, William Phebus and his wife, Monica; grandson Ian Hall and his wife Christy; grandsons Jeremy Hall and Dylan Hall, six great-grandchildren and beloved extended family members.
She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Live Oak, and over the years had served as church librarian, member of the alter guild and editor of the parish newsletter.
She traveled with her husband, an Episcopal priest, throughout the United States and abroad for many years, founding missions, bringing support to evangelism groups and offering love and guidance to countless seekers. She and her husband also led several tours to the Holy Land.
She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, doting grandmother and loyal friend. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Her funeral will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Live Oak, on Monday, May 23 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in St. Luke's Columbarium. Anyone wishing to honor her memory is invited to make a donation to St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
