Born in New London, CT to Alton and Sally Walsh, younger brother to Sally Ann Allen, Richard and Boyd Walsh. A devoted husband and father, lover of mechanics, an intelligent and talented craftsman and all-around strong man.
Graduate of NFA class of 1964.
Enrolled in the U.S. Army and served in the 25th infantry at Vietnam.
Drag racing enthusiast, involved in NHRA competition, and owned and operated Chet's Speed Shop (partnership) in Preston, CT.
Owned and operated David's Cafe and landlord to 134 Route 12 in Preston, CT from 1974-2004.
Founded WALSH Race Craft with his immediate family in 1997 and moved to Live Oak, FL in 2004, where he retired.
He became sick in 2015 and was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2016.
He is survived by his brother, Richard; sister, Sally; wife, Marsha; sons, Michael and Nathanial; daughter-in-law, Paula and grandsons, Lawson and Wolf.
