Norine's Story

Norine Zeigler Bryant passed away on September 17, 2017 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL after a long illness. She was born January 17, 1938 in Sylvania, Georgia. Married to Clyde Bryant for nearly 63 wonderful years on September 27, 1954. Norine had a passion for small children and babies and had a nursery in her home for many years as she was also owner and operator of Rener's Daycare. She also worked with the Girl Scouts of America. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing , the Beach Vacation , mostly enjoyed going to visit her sister Laura Dale. Norine was preceded in death by her parents, William Jacob and Nora May Zeigler and daughter, Kathy Bryant. Norine is survived by her husband, Clyde, Live Oak , sister, Laura Harris of Crescent City, FL, daughter, Tina Metts (Bill) of Live Oak, sons Kenneth (Brenda) Bryant, Corey (Vicky) Bryant and Patrick Bryant. Norine was the grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and had many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 am Thursday, September 21st at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Dampier officiating. Interment will be held at the church cemetery. There will be a visitation held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am at the church.
