Ronald Arthur Smith, 76, of Live Oak, FL passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016. Mr. Smith was born in Oswego, NY and moved to Live Oak 20 years ago from Riviera Beach, FL. He worked as a Computer Analyst Supervisor for numerous companies during his career and enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing. Mr. Smith was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of American Legion Post #107 and the Suwannee Country Club.
He is survived by his life partner, Sandi J. Pauly; daughters, Tracey Smith-Given (William), Linnea Smith-Gibson, Carrie Watkins (Charles); sister, Pearl Ann McGory (Gene); grandchildren, Matthew Gibson (Jessika), Emily Watkins and Dylan Given; seven great-grandchildren, Marina, Kailani, Kodiak and JustLeigh Gibson, Jacob Given, Domenic Marrinucci-Given and Dante Marinucci-Given; one great-great-grandchild, Liam Given; two nephews and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice M. Smith; parents, Richard W. and Pearl H. Smith; brother, Dick Smith, Jr.; and grandson, Jason Given.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at Daniels Funeral Home, Live Oak, FL.
Private burial and reception at Cherry Hill Cemetery, Live Oak, FL.
