Rudolph Hurst, 76, Live Oak, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 after a short illness. The lifelong resident of Suwannee County retired from poultry farming with Gold Kist Farms after forty years. He was a member of the Hines Hunting Club in Mayo, FL. Rudolph was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Naomi Hurst, Live Oak, FL; one son; Wendell James & Reba Hurst of Mayo, FL; two sisters; Francis Folsom of Mayo, FL, Donna Jean Cannon of Live Oak, FL; one brother; Ray Hurst of Live Oak, FL; Three Grandchildren; Brent Hurst, Lacey & Vandy Musgrove, Lee Hurst; Three Great-Grandchildren; Bethany Musgrove, Brody Hurst, Korynn Musgrove. He was preceded in death by his parents; Sidney & Lois Hurst and his son; Michael Steven Hurst. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28th at Friendship Baptist Church with interment following in the church cemetery. Rev. David Teems, Rev. Robert Carter, & Rev Louis Berry will be officiating the services.
