Sarah Moses Hays passed away on October 21, 2017. Sarah was born in Tallahassee, Florida on December 3, 1942. She graduated from Florida High (University School) in 1960 attended F.S.U. and at age 50 received an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Florida Community College, Jacksonville.
Sarah resided in Tallahassee, Fl, Macon, Ga, Savannah, Ga, Vidalia, Ga, Jacksonville, Fl and Live Oak, FL. She worked as an R.N. at St Luke's Hospital Jacksonville and ended her career as a School Nurse for Duval County, FL Public Schools.
Sarah was a woman of great faith who treated everyone she encountered with grace and compassion. She was a devoted wife, mother of three boys, and created a home where all were welcome and treated as family.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Elsie Moses, her brother, Larry Moses and her son Lanier Hays and is survived by her husband Charlie and sons William (Shawn) and Jeffrey (Shena) Hays, Stepson Winn Hays, her brother Robert Jr. (Mal Sun), three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
