Adell Ross, 94, of Live Oak passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 in Gainesville, Fla. after a short illness. Adell, fondly know to many as Granny, was a lifetime resident of Suwannee County and Live Oak where she was a long time member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Barbara (Roger) Weinhold, Acworth, Ga.; Jane (Jimmy) Hingson of Live Oak, Fla.; Diane (Len) Duncan of Jasper, Fla.; Phyllis 'Cookie' (Ralph) Murray of Live Oak; two sons; Daniel (Cyndi) Ross of Live Oak, Fla.; Wesley (Tammie) Ross of Quitman, Ga. Seventeen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Phil Ross, son Clarence 'Buddy' Ross, and grandchild Debbie Ross. Ms. Adell's viewing will be held 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, May 1 at Daniels Funeral Home. Her Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 2 at Philadelphia Baptist Church with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Service will be officiated by Rev. Leroy Dobbs & Rev. Josh Wynn.
