Mark Owen Hannum, 66, rejoiced to join his Maker on Saturday, May 21, 2016. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Harry R. and Marian J. [Bridgeford] Hannum, and had lived in Lake City for the past 12 years, coming previously from Live Oak, Fla. Mark loved God, family and life in general. He proudly served eight years in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed music, sports, books, whistling, singing, cooking and watching his eleven grandchildren at play. Mark was a teacher, a builder, an artisan; a loving husband, father, Poppop and friend.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 45 years, Dicy Anne [Crapps] Hannum of Lake City, Fla.; sons, Mark Owen (Heather) Hannum Jr. of Long Island, Ny. and John Matthew Hannum of Lake City, Fla.; daughters, Mary Katherine (Steven) Harley of Tallahassee, Fla., Dorothy (Christopher) Woodrum of Atlanta, GA, Margaret (Douglas) Jossi of Gainesville, Fla., and Dicy (John) Watson of Newberry, Fla.; brother, Michael (Beth) Hannum of Arthur, WV; sister, Jean O'Donnell of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Jackson, Stephanie, Katherine, Charlotte, Eric, Owen, Emma, Riley, Luna Rose, Tristan, and Rafe.
