Michael Kevin O'Malley, 68, of Wellborn, passed away suddenly on Jan. 1, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin on Sept. 23, 1948 to the late Thomas O'Malley and Delores Bishop O'Malley. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a LPN, working for the Veterans Administration Hospital here in Lake City for the past twenty plus years, where he received recognition for outstanding service numerous times.
