Will Russell, age 86, of Live Oak, Fla. passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Fla. He was a native of Williston, Fla. moving to Live Oak in 1990 from Gainesville, Fla. He worked as a bank security guard and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Will was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williston, Moose Lodge and the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches.
He is survived by one son, Willie Dale Russell, Gainesville, Fla.; one step-son, Gregory Sapp, Live Oak; two daughters, Karen Drost, Houston, Tx.; Barbara Ann Dingman, Gainesville, Fla.; two step-daughters, Marilyn Jenkins, Live Oak; Sharon Mathews, Middleburg, Fla.; A loving niece and care giver, Barbara Pitts, White Spring, Fla.; three sisters, Lizzie Mae Clemons, Cope, S.C.; Ruth Young, Williston, Fla.; Irene Green, Crystal River, Fla.; six grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren and nineteen step-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m..
Funeral services will be held, 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery.
